Anand means joy.
It’s the Punjabi word for the feeling we cook toward: the quiet joy of a table that has everything it needs.
Anand is an Indian restaurant with Buffet in Fargo, ND. The all day buffet is a rotating spread that changes with the kitchen’s mood. The full menu is available for both lunch and dinner as well: kebabs from the tandoor, biryani layered under saffron, slow-simmered gravies, bread pulled hot from the clay oven.
Anand is family owned. We built this restaurant the way we built everything before it — together, with our own hands, one decision at a time. The care that goes into the food is the same care going into the room.
